The Story Behind Sativa Diva:

Ever since I was a little girl, I had a passion instilled in me for creating. I knew that I needed to build a platform that allowed me to freely express my creative thoughts and ideas. A few years ago I decided to take that passion and put it towards building a brand for my myself. A brand that was not limited to one specific idea, but a combination of thoughts, ideas, and visions that I have now been able to bring to physical form through art

The first art piece I ever created was for me, myself, and I. I was so inspired by my tumblr and the way the images I chose to reblog reflected different parts of who I was. I wanted to live inside these images. This thought blossomed the idea to print them out and create a collage filled with these images, inspiring quotes, blended with images from my personal life. A collage that mirrored everything I was and everything I aspired to be. I began covering my walls in these collages, fulfilling my vision of living inside my tumblr; because I now was...living inside of it.

However, I never in a million years imagined that anyone else would care for my art. After all, everything I created was personal and not created with the intent of appeal to others. Once friends and family began showing admiration of my art was when I thought to myself, maybe you are talented.

It wasn't until recently that I found a sense of purpose for myself and truly stepped into my power. For the vast majority of my life, I believed that I didn't possess any gifts at all, yet still had a fear of being ordinary. Over the course of my spiritual journey, I have now realized that I do in fact, have gifts and not only do I have them but I am meant to share them.

So that is the purpose of Sativa Diva. Not only to share my art, but to share my journey, and hopefully make an impact on yours.
