Aura Baths & Why You Should Be Taking Them:

We are all physical beings, but we are also so much more than that. In fact, even more so than physical beings, we are ‘energetic beings’

Your aura is the vibrational field surrounds your body. This multilayered energetic field is directly correlated to your bodies emotions, health, circumstances & even your physical health.

In fact, you can have an energetic experience the same way you come in contact with physical bacteria. This is because your aura is a magnetic field to any surrounding energy, emotions, etc.

Out energy is heavily influenced by & can have a heavy influence on the situations around us, as well as the humans we interact with, the food we consume, etc.

As a result of this, our vibrational field can weaken as a result of picking up on low vibrations from others, foods, alcohol, substances, music, television, social media, etc

When we think of personal hygiene, we think of bathing our physical bodies, skin care, brushing our teeth, etc. If we don't do these things or keep up with them, eventually our physical body will get dirtier, develop bacteria, etc.

What if I told you the same goes for your energetic body?

This is why it is so essential that we take the time to clean our energetic body the same way we would if we were to take a shower or bath with the intention of cleaning our physical body.

Once you start cleansing your aura, you will experience a drastic difference in the way you feel mentally, physically, & spiritually.

In my personal experience, the best way to do this is through water. Water is one of the most important spiritual medicines; in fact, we can look to water to see the sacred value of life: an element of purification, protection, and healing. In fact, 60% of the human adult body IS water & our blood is 90%.

Cultures around the world equate water with healing and energy: humans travel great distances to drink or bath in water from mountains, wells and springs that are imbued with special energy.

Water has the ability to absorb prayers, cleanse unwanted energy and bestow good medicine.

It is sacred element that promotes mental, physical, & spiritual healing.

My Personal Cleansing Ritual:

Materials Needed-

  1. A bathtub.

  2. Baking Soda

  3. Natural Bath Salts

  4. Loose Herbs

  5. Smudge Stick

STEP 1: BAKING SODA

Baking Soda is most commonly known as a cooking ingredient but has also been used as an ancient healing remedy.

In addition to it’s physical benefits, being used as a household staple, baking soda is known to posses hidden spiritual cleansing properties as well.

For instance, it has the ability to release lactic acid into the blood, making it more acidic. Therefore, soothes sore muscles & cramping.

In addition to this, Baking Soda is an alkaline substance that supports your bodies natural pH. Another benefit of baking soda is it promotes our bodies natural ability to detoxify & can even boost the immune system when combined with epsom salt or sea salt.

Lastly, Baking Soda is used as an energetic cleanser that promotes the purification of our energetic bodies due to its combination of bicarbonate & sodium ions.

STEP 2: BATH SALTS

When it comes to energy cleansing, natural salt is one of the most powerful ingredients to release any kind of negative debris lingering in your energy.

Specifically Himalayan Pink Sea Salt contains calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron & other highly essential minerals for our wellness.

It can assist in improving respiratory diseases, balancing your body's pH, reduce signs of aging. improve sleep quality. regulate blood sugar. & naturally increase libido.

In this particular cleansing bath, I am using Ancient Minerals Magnesium Flakes.

Magnesium is an essential element that is crucial to hundreds of physiologic processes in humans. In fact, inadequate intake of magnesium has been linked to various adverse health outcomes.

According to a survey conducted in 1999 by the National Health and Nutrition Examination, Magnesium’s crucial role in over 300 fundamental biochemical reactions leads to a profound ability to influence nearly all of the body’s systems, an impact that is only now beginning to be fully understood.

Some of the benefits of Magnesium include:

12 Evidence-Based Health Benefits of Magnesium

  • Involved in hundreds of biochemical reactions in your body. ...

  • May boost exercise performance. ...

  • May combat depression. ...

  • May support healthy blood sugar levels. ...

  • May promote heart health. ...

  • Boasts anti-inflammatory benefits. ...

  • May help prevent migraine attacks. ...

  • May improve PMS symptoms.

STEP 3: LOOSE HERBS.

In addition to the benefits of using Lavender & Rose Petals as aromatherapy & relaxation.

Both of these herbs contain properties that are anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, & anti-inflammatory.

Lavender is known to assist in the healing of skin conditions, by reducing skin inflammation and also contains beneficIal properties directly linked to our nervous system.

As you breathe in the aroma of a Lavender bath, it is said to assist in aiding conGestion, colds, while also relieving muscle aches, & stress.

While Rose Petals on the other hand share some of these key benefits, they are commonly known for their ability to purify & open the heart.

Our Rose Oil can also be used as a beautiful addition to your cleansing ritual.

STEP 4: SMOKE PURIFICATION

Smudging has been used as ancient healing modality for thousands of years & has the ability to act as a natural anti depressant due to its ability to purify + restore the vibrational field.

In addition to purifying energy, smudging has the ability to purify the air itself: clearing out bacteria, pollen, pet odor, dust, & other potential allergens.

In this video, I am using White Sage that was kindly gifted to me intentionally to spread awareness. .

As a former consumer of the product, I am using the only one I own to bring awareness to the commonly overlooked subject of its endangerment.

While White Sage contains extensive benefits for energetic purification and has been used in doing so for centuries….it’s trendy usage has unfortunately resulted in it becoming over harvested and it is now endangered.

When you purchase white sage, you are contributing to this demand. Therefore, I recommend using other forms of smudging that are equivalently as beneficial.

With that being said, When it comes to what kind of smudge stick should be used: I would personally recommend authentically sourced Palo Santo or Nag Champa Incense.

IMPORTANT:

  • Due to it’s powerful spiritual properties, it is extremely important that we set a clear & pure intention when lighting any form of smoke to ensure that the smoke is being used to yield out negative energy rather than inviting in any unwanted energy.

  • Therefore, setting your intention for purification is an essential part of the smudging process & should conclude the final step in the process of an energy cleansing bath.
